Jerez is famous for its sherry and Brandy and to see just how varied sherry can be you must take in a tour of one of the big Bodegas in Jerez, such as Pedro Domonecq or Gonzalez Byass who is the maker of Tio Pepe, the world’s best selling dry sherry.

Jerez is also famous for its Cartujano dancing horses and Famenco dancing, the Real Escuela Andaluz del Arte Ecuestre – The Royal riding school is based there. These famous Andalucian horses perform weekly synchronized shows, but don’t worry if you think you have missed one as the daily training sessions are also open to the public.
Jerez also claims to be the home of Flamenco and you can always join in at one of the many shows available most nights of the week.
